Steve Fisher won 386 games as head coach at San Diego State University. That’s a lot of wins! So many, in fact, that it would be a fool’s errand to attempt to pick only 10 that stand out among the rest.

Searching in vain for a quality win on the 2016 schedule

It’s now 10 days since the last SDSU football game, meaning we’ve gone from basking in our shiny new ranking to panicking about things that are completely our of our control. Say, on that note, did you notice what’s happened to our strength of schedule recently?

We ranked

In the wake of a solid win at Northern Illinois and Cal’s stunner over Texas, San Diego State is ranked No. 22 in the newest Associated Press poll. I do not have a joke to make about this, it’s just flippin’ cool.

The ranking assures that the program’s rank-less streak will not reach 21 years, which is a shame considering I was hoping to take the streak to RAGE OUT at True North on its birthday. As such, this is the Aztecs’ first time in the Top-25 since Nov. 7, 1995. That’s a long time!
